About our home

We own a pittoresque small two-floor house in a historic village (Loenen aan de Vecht). The interior has an cosy colononial style. One bedroom and the bathroom are downstairs, one upstairs. We have small but modern open kitchen. There is a barn on the front and a garden at the back side. Towels, linen and kitchen utilities are provided.

We are a Dutch couple of 60 and 51 years old. We've been married for 33 years and have two adult daugthers. We own a bridal shop in Utrecht.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our house lies directly on the riverside. From our terrace/garden you can step in our Portugese boat and from there you can make tours to the lake of Loosdrecht or Vinkeveen, attractive and lively tourist places. Around our house you can find small historical streets, churches, old houses and a genuine windmill. At walking distance from the house you'll find a supermarket and quality restaurants. Two bicycles are present to make beautifull bike trips. With our car you can drive to Amsterdam within 20 minutes.
