About our home

Our family house was renovated in 2016. It was build in 1939 from a local lime stone - mergel - that since then has changed its color from original sandy yellow to redish brown but otherwise kept its original character. House interio was carefully preserved where possible and when not carefully designed to compliment the existing historical features. The beautiful garden that faces St. Pieter hill - local tourist attraction - was designed by famous Dutch landscaper Mien Ruys albeit 50 years ago but still maintains its original features and gives you a feeling of a country side.
