Where is it?

Neighbourhood

My lovely studio is 2 minutes from the centre of town, where there is lots of opportunities for food, coffee or a nice class of wine or beer. When the sun is out, the Dutch people are out. The town is cosy and has a lot of history. Old buildings and churches, museums and canals, on which you can take a boat tour to see the city from the water.
My house is a 7k bike ride away from the beach and 7 minutes walk to the train station. From there you can take the train to Amsterdam in 20 minutes.

Buzzy restaurants
Lots of good food from all over the world.
Cool bars
Enough, but the Jopenkerk is a really nice. It’s a beer brewery in an old church.
Cozy cafés
My favourites are Native, Anne en Max and by Lima
Retail therapy
Plenty!!
Bit of culture
I love the Corrie ten Boom house, but lots of other opportunities
Walks in the park
A lot of footpaths along the canals that are gorgeous all around the year.
Spot of exercise
Bike paths, or walking trails. Or you can rent a peddle board
Day tripping
Amsterdam or other nice city’s within half an hour or just spent the day at the beach
