About our home

Apartment in the most beautiful neighborhood of Scheveningen; The Belgisch Park. The apartment consists of all the things you need (TV, oven, washingmachine, dishwasher, sonos, wifi), and most important it's an apartment in which people are living! So don't expect an extraordinary new, all finished apartment. But a beautiful apartment where you'll feel at home. The apartment is on the second floor, and in front of the house there's a small garden where you can sit in the sun, or put on the grill.

Needless to say, there will be a list of recommendations on where to eat, drink your coffee, and where to go in order to experience the Dutch life.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

More about us

  1. We're a couple; Jared & Roos; Jared lives in the USA New Hampshire area, Roos lives in Holland, Scheveningen.

  2. Jared plays lower level pro ice hockey and roasts coffee. Roos works as a child psychologist in special education.

  3. In order to being able to visit each other, a house swap would be great.

Where is it?

Belgisch Park: Quiet area, with shops (bakery, coffee, supermarket, gym) around the corner. Everything is on walking distance; especially when you're from the USA. The beach is a short 15 minute walk, but as you'll be in Holland, you'll take the bike like a real Dutchie! Only 4 minutes by bike, or if you're not that used to riding a bike, it might take you as long as going by foot. You can park a car for free just around the corner.

Scheveningen is known for the beautiful beach, boulevard, restaurants and nightlife. The Hague city centre is a short 15 minute bikeride (or 50 min by foot), so everything is super close. Public transport is also well organized in the area, there are busses and trams that'll take you anywhere you want in Holland (take the bus/tram to central station and travel by train to another city!).

Needless to say, there will be a list of recommendations on where to eat, drink your coffee, and where to go in order to experience the Dutch life.
