About our home

We feel our apartment is a couples paradise. Walking distance to the beach, harbour with amazing restaurants, most trendy shopping street in The Hague and a stones throw from public transportation to bring you downtown and beyond. It's comfy, quiet, equipped, recently decorated, and warm. Entering the apartment on the street level you first come to the coat and bike storage. Once you hang up your coat and enter through the double glass doors, the cozy living room awaits you. Build a fire in the fireplace, get cozy on the leather couch. Through the metal stall doors you come to the dining space and large fully equipped kitchen. Two more glass doors welcome you to the paved garden with lounge set. in the evening the garden lights up for warm evenings outside. Via the dining area is another set of glass wooden doors that lead you to the ground floor master bedroom, full bathroom and separate toilet. A perfect suite for a couple. Up the stairs you will find a second toilet, washing machine and small shower room. One more flight up the stairs and you will find a second bedroom with a full size four poster bed. Both bedrooms face the back of the house with the ground floor bedroom opening up to the garden. 90% of the apartment is on the ground floor. If you need the use the second bedroom, you have to walk up two flights of stairs.

More about us

  1. Marc and I are married with kids almost out of college. I’m American and work for an international organization and Marc is Dutch and is a hospitality coach at the hospital.

  2. We have a six year old yellow Labrador Called Penny. We try to take her on holiday when we can. If not we can see about her coming with the apartment. She’s very lovable.

  3. I love design, architecture and traveling to new places. We like to discover quaint town cafes, shops, and theater. We’re very easy going, non smoking, almost non-drinking, in our 50’s and very reliable.
