About our home

Our house looks over a river ' de Vecht' and green scenery. It is suitable for 5 poeple including a baby. Our house is in between the historical centre and nature. The neighbourhood is quiet en friendly and is a mixture of elderly people and young families. It is 15 minutes by bus or bicylce from the historical centre of town. A medieval city centre small enough to explore on foot. Large enough to enjoy festivals, modern architecture, trendy shops and interesting museums. An extensive number of cultural events. Friendly outdoor cafés and restaurants. Amsterdam and other interesting cities to visit are closeby.

More about us

  1. We're a couple and both teaching. We have two young children; 1 and 3 years old.

  2. Because of our jobs we can only swap in schoolholidays.

  3. We love art, nature, culture, the sea and travelling.
