About our home
Our home is modern, somewhat minimalistic design interior, new (built 2001) at the border of Utrecht, the house overlooks green meadows which represent the famous "green hart" of Holland. The sun sets in this direction, so the views from the living room are often spectacular.
We have a part-time maid for 10 hours weekly (at extra cost: 65 euro for 8 hours weekly). And offcourse 3 good and modern bicycles, which are a very common way of transportation here, since everything is flat!
The PC and internet is quick, a large digital TV is in the livingroom (with PS2 offcourse ;-), a second one in the bedroom, The kitchen has a very nice large 8 persons table and modern equipment.
Our house is build on 320 m2 property, which leaves us with some nice garden in the front and the back.

We are Fransje and Rejoh, a married couple in our late thirties. We are both entrepreneurs, Fransje is a marketing-communications advisor and Rejoh owns a motorcycle-gear company.
We have a very funny 6 year old daughter, called Zoë, and that goes with the accompanying load of girl-toys offcourse! A second one is underway!Furthermore we own a even funnier dog, a boxer. He will be staying with our parents when we are on hollidays. Offcourse that means that your dog is totaly welcome in our home.
We are newbies to this home exchange thing, but we are keen to try it. We would like to arrange an exchange some way in advance offcourse, in order to get to know you first to see how best we can facilitate your stay in The Netherlands.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
We live in the Centre of Holland, with perfect and short connections (road, train) to all cities, even Belgium ones: (Amsterdam (30 min. by car), Rotterdam (30 min. by car), The Hague (30 min. by car), Antwerpen (60 min. by car), Brugge (60 min. by car), Maastricht (120 min. by car).
A supermarket is within 500 meters. The old centre of the city of Utrecht (250.000 inhabitants) is quite pitoresk with its cosy Canals, that are even more beautifull than the ones in Amsterdam. Shopping, restaurants, museums, nightlife, Utrecht has some of the finest; it is a great town!
There is lots of water close to our house. In the winter that could mean very nice ice-skating, which is a very popular sport/recreation here.
