About our home

We are a family of 4, next to Nina and Rutger, consisting of a boy of 1 years old (Benjamin) and a girl of 3 years old (Alma). Our lovely home is situated in the area called "Vreewijk", which is the first residential area built outside of the historical city centre in the 19th century. Our house looks out on a typical Leiden canal, with the famous observatory (where Einstein performed some of his experiments) and botanical gardens richt at the other side of the water. The Vreewijk is a leafy and quiet area, with beautiful 19th century houses, within 5min walking distance from the city centre.

We have travelled a lot with and without our family and have shared houses for the last few years and truly love the exchange of experiences.
