“Akaroa is such a beautiful, small, French influenced village and great home base for hikes, kayaking, golf, wine tasting and history. Our home was centrally located near the water front and downtown. We walked everywhere. The tidal changes, weather and sunsets were dramatic. Our home had all the modern conveniences except WIFI. We would return in a heartbeat and look forward to hosting our home exchange partners in California.”

“We have just had a lovely restful holiday in Christchurch New Zealand, in a lovely beach village called Akaroa. It is our first home swap, it was a wonderful apartment in the centre of the village. It was so clean and was home away from home, we had everything we could wish for. I loved walking out the gate into the village with shops and the lovely mountains and sea. We thank Paul and his family for letting us stay, and we look forward in having them in our home.”

“We had a very good time in this house, and loved our stay in wonderful Akaroa. The only less nice thing was that the balcony did not look out over the bay. But we walked the two minutes to the beach in the sun every morning with joy. And had breakfast at one of the tables right at the waterfront!! We loved the fresh fish we could buy from Murphy at the peer. Also the surroundings were incredible beautiful. Akaroa is a place not to miss. Even the nearby golf course is fantastic and the people there friendly. A very good place to have a Swap!! Thank you Paul!! A pity we could not meet you.”
