About our home

Beautiful country home set in and around wineries with a river below. There are 4 good double sized bedrooms, 2 toilets, 1 bath and 1 shower. 3 living area, 2 with log burners, kitchen and another small room that I use as a study. French doors off two living areas and two bedrooms. The house also has a spa, deck, single garage, carport and a self contained sleep out.
There are some wonderful character features including bevelled glass, leadlight windows.

More about us

Hi, My name is Fiona and I have an almost 4 year old wee girl as well as a partner Aaron. I am originally from Scotland and have lived in NZ for almost 10 years now. There has been some family pressure!( No, surely not family pressure I hear you say! lol) Anyway since having my daughter, the pressure is more intense to come back for a visit! Her granny does come every year to NZ to visit but I thought perhaps we could visit for maybe 6-12months before she starts school, possibly giving someone else the NZ experience in a beautiful part of the country. My partner Aaron is a builder and is a kiwi. Hopefully there is some similar minded people out there. I would reassure anyone that I am a very honest reliable and trustworthy person who would treat your home like I would my own.

Where is it?

In every directions you have wineries and less than an hour away is the fantastic thermal pools.
We are situated 10km from the nearest town, which has a small supermarket, bank, post office, pubs, restaurants and take aways, petrol stations and a gym for those who would like to keep fit. Golf, squash, cricket, rugby clubs
The nearest school is 4 kms and the school bus comes to the end of the road for pick up.
