About our home

Our eco designed home has bedrooms with beautiful bush and sea views, whilst our living space opens completely to a large courtyard and kitchen garden. Only five years old our home has a relaxed vibe, perfect for living on an island, yet only 35 minutes ferry ride to central Auckland. The location is perfect for access to local vineyards, cafes, theatres, beaches and walking tracks. Enjoy the wonderful bird life and a stroll through our own native tree block, yet be handy to all local amenities.

Where is it?

We live in an exceptional community based on a green ethos, where locals work together to protect the environment and our homes are largely self sufficient. Like many tourist destinations it becomes very busy during the holiday seasons and relaxes during winter. The local beaches are safe and uncrowded even in peak times , so there is room to breathe and the island has a vibe like no other.
