About our home

Our home is conveniently located in a quiet neighbourhood, 2kms from Nelson's CBD and 800m from a cycle-way to the city. We have a lovely sundeck with park and sea views accessed from the living area. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A spacious living area gives you lovely views to the sea and parkland. There is off-street parking to access our home.
We are connected to ultra-fast broadband. We have 2 'adult' bikes available for use.
There are many things to do in Nelson, which is at the top of the South Island. The local airport has good connections to New Zealand's international and regional airports. The area has great beaches, walkways and cycle tracks. Sailing, kayaking and mountain-biking are popular. There are a large number of art and craft galleries in the vicinity. Wonderful vineyards, craft beers and fresh produce are all handy.
Weather is temperate. However, if there is a cold snap we have a gas fire and a heat pump.

More about us

  1. We're a 'retired' couple who like to travel

  2. We both like to keep fit and active. Robyn swims and practices yoga; I go to the gym and walk (the dog)

  3. We love art, wine and movies and Nelson is well served in that respect

Where is it?

We are 1.5 kilometres from Nelson's CBD, an easy bike ride or walk. Just 300 metres away is Founders Heritage Park an the Japanese Gardens. We are also very close to a cycle-way which connects with the Great Taste Trail and takes serious bikers out to the Moutere wine region. Our city is also very well served with river walks, parks, gardens and access to the sea.
