About our home

A self-contained one bedroom apartment in a quiet location in Devonport, Auckland. The apartment is one back from the waterfront and has water views from the bedroom and balcony. There is off-street parking. The apartment is located above a house, which I also own, but it is quite separate with its own entrance has a light open-plan kitchen/dining/living room with a small balcony to sit out and watch the boats go by. There is a separate bedroom and bathroom.

I am a mid-fifties, semi-retired FD and I emigrated to NZ from the UK twenty years ago. I am taking time to travel as much as I can and I usually spend the winter months of NZ in Europe and the UK chasing the sunshine! My apartment in the UK is also available for exchange.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Devonport is a historic suburb of Auckland on the North Shore and a regular ferry shuttle service goes directly to the CBD only a few minutes away. Beautiful Cheltenham beach is a five minute walk. The area has a village atmosphere with character shops, galleries and restaurants. Ferry services also run to Waiheke and Rangitoto islands and there are lots of parks and open spaces including the historic North Head. The waterfront is only a few meters from the apartment.
