About our home

Our home is in a quiet residential area, no-exit street, North facing, overlooking a park. Warm and sunny. King size bed and single bedroom upstairs with one bathroom with bath and shower, well equipped kitchen, main living area and deck with outside seating, BBQ and views. Downstairs - queen bed, fold out double sofa, bathroom and tea making facility, small fridge. Suitable for 2 couples or couple with teenage children.

Smoke and pet-free home.

Car negotiable. NZ contact available for assistance.

More about us

We are both in legal profession (family lawyer and civil tribunal adjudicator) in late 50s in with adult children and 2 grandchildren. With a daughter in London we are keen to see more of Europe and visit her at the same time. We have not done an exchange before but are keen to do so and are able to accommodate non-simultaneous exchanges with anyone interested in coming to Auckland in our summer as we are usually away from home for about 3 weeks.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Ideal base for exploring Auckland and surrounding attractions. Five minutes walk to cafes, shops, supermarket; 15 minutes to range of restaurants, health food store, designer clothing. Bus at end of street, walk by the sea or through parks and reserves within a few minutes of home.

Activities include safe swimming beaches, kayaking or sailing, parasailing, dolphin cruises on the harbour, or surf beaches on the West Coast. 15 minutes drive or bus to museums, easy access to Northland; 3 hours from thermal area in Rotorua.
