About our home

We live in one of the best neighbourhoods of the North Shore in Auckland (NZ's biggest city, population 1.4mil). Close to many beaches, reserves & parks; ocean view. Large back yard and garden.

Large 2-level 1980 home on 1,005m2 elevated site with views over bush, mature native trees and out to the ocean (Waitemata Harbour).

This house is beautifully set up for family with preschoolers or younger children. Huge very full toy cupboards available, multiple cots, beds and high chairs, even an indoor climbing frame. We have a Toyota Estimata including 3 car seats available for swap if needed. We have mountain bikes with child bike seats in our 2-berth internal access garage. Tonnes of outdoor toys and lots of lawn to kick a ball or lie on our loungers or swing seat and relax. New netted trampoline.

Surrounded by beautifully renovated villas, parks, reserves, native bush, there are SO many of Auckland's top restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. Many beaches, parks and bush walks right at your doorstep. So many adventures await - we love where we live very much. The ferry into the CBD is at the end of the street. 10mins walk to local mall, or 10 minutes bus into Auckland's CBD downtown. The ferry is at the end of our road, and this will take you into the CBD in 10 minutes too.

Vege and herb gardens - lots of mature shrubs and beautiful green view. Our kitchen is fully set up with all appliances (dishwasher, double oven, microwave, hob, coffee machine, nutribullet, soda stream, etc). I really enjoy cooking so cooks and bakers will find this kitchen well equipped with two large sinks, lots of bench space and a great herb and vegetable garden to complement your cooking or baking.

Master bedroom has a super king sized bed with full ensuite bathroom (including separate toilet and shower), and a cot.

Second bedroom has a king single with trundler (which can be lifted up to queen) and cot. Third bedroom has two singles in bunks and a cot. (The cots can be removed to make space for more beds if required.)

Has a full bath, two showers, all very family friendly but sophisticated modern dining, or family friendly activity at your doorstep. I can give you the number for my trusted babysitter. Safe neighbourhood and friendly neighbours.
Two large living areas plus dining. Warm fireplace and fully stocked paper and wood in winter. HRV and heat pump / air con. We haven't renovated yet as we are waiting until our children are a bit older. But home is large, clean and really comfortable and such a good base.

NZ is the adventure capital of the world. Our country is clean, green and beautiful. Top notch vineyards, beaches and wineries on your doorstep.

Dates are flexible but most interested in swapping late September 2017 - mid October 2018, or Christmas period. Happy to travel anywhere, we love traveling, our main priority is the property being safe and family friendly for our very young ones currently aged 10 months, 2 and 3years old.
