About our home

Stone and cedar clad 350 sq.metre villa built 1998. Double glazed, with two fire places. Floors of carpet, cork tiles and ceramic tiles. Large verandah, with views to the sea. This is our family home that we built for ourselves and our three (now adult) children. Large farmhouse kitchen. There are two full bathrooms, an extra toilet, a separate laundry, three separate living areas, and large lawn with garden.

  1. Bill and I are a married couple. Bill farms and runs a tourist boat with his twin brother. I am a teacher at the local school. We have three adult children, one of whom will are joining us in Geneva for a family wedding.

Where is it?


Situated on 550 acre sheep/cattle farm in a viticultural area of Marlborough. There is another home (occupied by married brother) on the property. The house is 7 Km from nearest township of Seddon (pop 550) where there are restuarants, churches, pub, sports grounds, school etc.
The area is noted for its wineries and ready access to 2 ski fields, whale watching, boating and fishing, and only 2 hours to the picturesque area of Nelson. Easy ferry(3 hours) or aeroplane (30 minutes) access to Wellington.
