About our home

My house is a modern town house in a semi rural area close to Blenhiem township close to the Wither Hills.. It has a large open plan kitchen/dining/lounge with fold back doors opening to a timber deck area. The dining area opens to a western facing deck with BBQ area. The house is extremely sunny and light. The kitchen is spacious with a breakfast bar. There are 3 double bedrooms, a spacious downstairs bathroom with shower and bath and an en-suite off the upstairs bedroom. There is a gas fireplace in the lounge as well as a heat pump. The lounge, dining and bedroom areas are carpeted, the rest of the house is tiled. There is garaging for one car and available parking space on the street outside the house.

I am a semi-retired teacher who has enjoyed 4 house exchanges so far. At the moment I am interested in an exchange over the Christmas period 2017 within North Island NZ preferably a coastal/beach location. If anyone is interested in spending approximately a week/10 days in the Marlborough area please don't hesitate to contact me.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Ideally located as a touring base, Blenheim offers easy access to the Marlborough Sounds, Picton, Kaikoura and Nelson. Within a small radius you will find numerous shops, local galleries, parks and public gardens. wineries and restaurants. Water activities including boating are abundant. My house very close to the numerous walking and mountain biking tracks located in the Wither Hills Farm Park area. The Marlborough Sounds are really beautiful and within easy access from my home.
