About our home

Our recently restored home is warm, spacious and secure. It is within walking distance to a library, local shopping mall, bowling, croquet, bridge, golf and tennis clubs. It is in a safe, quiet neighbourhood with good public transport and amenities. We have a 42inch plasma television, and a low maintenance peaceful leafy garden. Our neighbours are friendly; there are many lovely walks possible through our suburb of Fendalton which has some of the loveliest homes and gardens in our city.

More about us

We are a professional couple (economist and marketing executive) with a grown up family. We are leaving in April for a one year working holiday in Surrey, England. Our home is close to the University of Canterbury, airport and city centre. We hope someone may consider a long term arrangement.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

There are many great things to do in Canterbury with the mountains and beaches both just a short drive away. The large central city park, Hagley Park, is only 2 kilometres from our home. Christchurch city has a lively theatre and music scene and many restaurants. World class vineyards are easily accessible from Christchurch, the gateway to the South Island.
