About our home

We live in a comfortable, warm, clean and spacious home with a garden outlook. Our kitchen and dining room are flooded with light, as are two adjoining lounges with access to a large deck with outdoor furniture, including a swing. The deck overlooks a fenced, private backyard and garden with trees, flowers and shrubs. We enjoy spending time in our home and garden and having friends and family over. Every time we travel, we never fail to be pleased to be home.

Where is it?

Our home is located in a peaceful cul-de-sac with great neighbours. We are close to Christchurch's greenbelt fringe with a number of nice walks and have a park at the end of the street and a club with several excellent restaurants just 400m walk away. All our visitors comment on how quiet and peaceful it is here yet so handy to all essential amenities. We have two shopping centres within 2km drive and are 7km from the rejuvenating Christchurch CBD., which is transforming after seismic upheavals seven years ago.
Christchurch is an ideal base from which to tour the scenic South Island. The alpine spa resort of Hanmer Springs and the seaside town of Akaroa are 90 minutes' drive, skifields are just two hours' away and whales can be watched at Kaikoura, 2hrs north.
Our place is a short drive from the main northern and southern highways, Christchurch Airport and the Antarctic Centre with its popular penguins attraction.
