About our home

Lovely warm and inviting home. Very comfortable
and spacious with open plan living. Cable TV and all mod cons. Beautiful garden. You can even help youselves to the vegetable patch.

More about us

We are Tony and Sybil who are looking to home exchange so we can enjoy living in other parts of the world.
We have 5 adult children and only the youngest lives in New Zealand. So we need to visit them often. Sybil is a Registered Nurse and Tony does part time work for a local welfare organisation. We are looking to swap for any period through April / May to August / Sept 2009, eg 1 month or two months or whatever. We would hope to stay in one place for 4 to 6 weeks if possible. We have family living in London and would ideally like to be somewhere near to them if possible but anywhere in England and or France would be great.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Situated in new subdivision Southeast Christchurch, approximately 8 minutes from the central city. Very quiet neighbourhood with helpful neighbours. Bus transport nearby. Christchurch is situated in the centre of the South Island of New Zealand and is the ideal starting point for your tour of our beautiful country. Close to the sea and easy access to the mountains for ski-ing and the lakes. There are many very good wineries within a short driving distance. Day trips to Akaroa (quaint French harbour settlement), Hanmer Springs (Thermal baths). West Coast wild scenery 3 hours drive, Central Otago amazing lakes, mountains and rivers 4 - 5 hours drive. New Zealand has very diverse scenery only a few hours drive in any direction.
