About our home

Our delightful, sunny period cottage is in easy walking distance (1 to 10 minutes) to the city, Hagley park, botanical gardens, Arts Centre, public golf course, shopping and restaurants. Christchurch is the ideal South Island base for trips to the West Coast, Kaikoura (whale watching etc), Lewis pass, Hamner Springs, Mackenzie country lakes, Mount Cook, national parks, skiing (e.g. Mount Hutt, Porter Heights), and trout fishing. Membership of local fly-fishing club can be arranged.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our suberb, one of Christchurch's nicest, is very quiet, but very close to the city. Hagley park and its public golf course is a few minutes walk away. There are many restaurants and interesting shops just around the corner.
