About our home

Our stone farmhouse was built in 1870 - it's a rambling, family home with open fires and set in huge lawns and beautiful big trees. It's an easy walk to some of Queenstown's best restaurants, New Zealand's prettiest lake, and a very short drive to all the famous golf courses and ski resorts. The cycle trail is at the bottom of our drive so you can bike to any of the many wineries, rivers, towns and attractions without going on the roads. Many of our guests complain that it's too lovely playing tennis at the house, or picking flowers or gathering walnuts or lying under the trees with a book so they don't get out sightseeing enough!
