About our home

Our home is comfortable, clean, warm, tidy and spacious 100 hundred year old refurbished farm house. It has a very large kitchen and dining area with underfloor heating which opens out to an outdoor living area with a spa and expansive gardens. It has a warm lounge which includes a library and TV with a large log burner. Two double bedrooms down stairs and two smaller bedrooms upstairs. The bathroom has a large cast iron bath and a tiled shower with under floor heating also. The toilet is seperate with a second toilet and shower in our boot and coat room. It is surrounded by our working dairy farm. Outside there is a 3 car garage with a gym and workshop.

More about us

We are both 47 with 3 grown children that have left home. We have a 350 cow dairy farm that is currently managed by a very capable person that enables us some freedom to travel. We both enjoy the outdoors and regular exercise. We are clean and tidy and will respect other peoples homes like our own.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our property is 10 minutes drive to the local shops in Collingwood in the beautiful Golden Bay at the top of the South Island. The main shopping centre is Takaka 30 minutes drive. We have a beautiful trout fishing and swimming river on our boundary with private access through the farm. We are 5 minutes from Kahurangi national park with the beautiful mountains with native bush and walks. The world famous Abel Tasman Track is 50 minutes a drive. We have a popular rural cafe called the Naked Possum 5 minutes drive. Golden Bay is a popular holiday destination with beautiful golden sand beaches and craft galleries. It quietens down over the winter months and runs at a slower pace.
