Neighbourhood

We live in a suburban neighbourhood 2 kilometres from New Pymouth's CBD
We provide a particularly tranquil setting with a back drop of NZ bush reserve. We often wake to bird song.
When the mountain is obliging there is a most stunning view of Mount Taranaki within 400m of the house. The mountain offers skiing in winter and numerous hiking and walking tracks on it's lower reaches.
Within 15 min cycle of the coast and coastal walkway through the Te Henui walkway, no need to go anywhere near a busy road.
Taranaki is known for its stunning surf surfing breaks a spread throughout the "Naki"
We have a huge multiple choice when it comes to eating places. most are cluster around the CBD but there are some outstanding outliers.
wE are renowned for our beautiful public garden, Pukekura Park, Pukeiti Rhododendron Gardens, Tupare Gardens. there is also an annual garden festival at the end of September.
The award winning Len Lye Art Gallery and a very good museum, Pukeariki.
