Rural setting with own lake and only 2km from Richmond Town.
Tasman/Nelson is situated at the top of the South Island and is the gateway to some of New Zealand's most popular National Parks and Marine Reserves. Nelson city and region is known for its arts & cuisine culture, its beautiful scenery, wineries & boutique breweries, safe swimming beaches, mountain lakes and the great outdoors that is accessible to all ages and abilities. Lovely coastal and bush walks and mountain biking trails are all around the Nelson region. A great way to take it all in.
Nelson has an airport with direct links to all cities within New Zealand. You can jump on a morning flight to Wellington (approx 25mins)explore the city for a day or 2 and fly back to Nelson.
We are a 5.5 hr drive to Christchurch and 1.5 hr drive to Blenhiem - the centre of the Marlborough wine region. Picton is a 1.45 hr drive and is the main access point to the beautiful Marlborough Sounds. It is also the terminus for the Interislander ferry. A 3 hour drive will have you in Kaikoura on the East coast. Here you can go whale and dolphin watching, surf and scuba dive.
