My 1940's bungalow has a lot of character and feel good factor.
Only 45 min drive to Auckland you feel close enough to the hussle and bussle but as soon as you arrive in Kaukapakapa you are in traditional rural new Zealand.
The views from most rooms in the house are breath taking over the Kaipara Harbour and farm lands. Sitting with a glass of wine watching the sunsets is pure medicine of bliss to finish the day.
The house has 2 bedrooms and there is a tidy caravan parked out back that can sleep up to 4.
If you are a golf enthusiast or simply want to try you luck for a hole in one, part of the front deck transforms into a driving range. Approx 100 yards on a calm day can be reached by a pitching wedge.
The house sits on 7 acres (3 Hec), covered mostly by native bush with all the lovely sounds of New Zealand wildlife.
Maintenance on the property isn't essential but can be discussed on interest. Around the house is easily maintained with a hand lawn mower and spraying the odd weeds.
Water supply is provided off the roof so no charge with water rates.
currently 3 adults live here and haven't come close to using up the tank.
Hot water is run off gas bottles.
In a nutshell, if you want a rural retreat with activity all around within forty minutes drive, my property is sheer bliss and takes you away from the stresses of everyday life.
2007 Mitsubishi Lancer station wagon is available with the house.
Location is oyster point road west, Kaukapakapa.
