About our home

Home and separate cottage on tranquil island 1 hour drive north of Auckland and 20 minute water taxi ride. Private jetty and the use of centre console inflatable boat. Landscaped property with swimming pool/spa pool. Spectacular views in protected cove.

3 bedroom, 2 bathroom main home with separate self contained cottage with one bathroom. Has master bedroom and bunk room which sleeps 9.

We have paddle boards, kayak, windsurfer, water skis, fishing equipment.

  1. We are a family of four with two adult daughters. We love to vacation together in different parts of the world.

  2. We can swap our home in Auckland or our home on Kawau Island (one hour north of Auckland)

  3. We love skiing and boating and both our homes in NZ are on the water and have beautiful views.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

On the Island there are great walking tracks, sandy beaches, historic Mansion House, good fishing and boating. On the mainland (20 minute water taxi ride) there are local areas to explore e.g. Omaha Beach, Matakana township, Warkworth, Leigh. There are vineyards, outdoor sculpture parks, farmers markets, boutique breweries within half an hour of Sandspit (where you catch the water taxi to the Island). There are a number of other small islands within easy boating distance.
