Panoramic Queenstown lake views

“We stayed at Gillian and Peters place which had a magical location v close to Queenstown. There was the choice of hopping on a boat or a short drive to town. The surrounding area is stunning and we went for a few runs so really got a feel for the area. We stayed in the lower ground floor whilst Gillian and Peter were upstairs so we shared the house with them. They were very courteous and allowed us to use their washing machine which was great and for us much needed after a week in a campervan! The bedrooms are lovely very comfy and spill out on to the garden. There is no kitchen which we certainly knew about before, but for a few days this was fine as we got a take away and ate at the famous Fernberger! Perfect spot and great hospitality, we would certainly recommend ”

“We had a lovely short break in this lovely house in Queenstown , the house was extreamly comfortable and well equipped .It is in a wonderful location we did hire a car as we wanted to explore the area but if you were just wanting to be in Queenstown you can take the water taxi to the city centre .The water taxi is all of 5min walk away . ”

“We had a Fantastic stay at Gillian's home, it was just a short water taxi ride into Queenstown. We hired a car which made it easy access to the slopes and other surrounding attractions. The home was very comfortable and clean when we arrived however very cold for the 1st night until we worked out the heating. It has beautiful views over the lake lovely bike tracks which we enjoyed and great walking tracks also. Gillian left us a detailed booklet with heaps of useful information. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully return back one day. ”
