About our home

Our house is a cute wooden three bedroom house. It's got amazing views of the Kerikeri inlet and is built right on the water. The deck goes over the water (therefore it is not suitable for little kids). The house has got it's own boatramp and you can kayak from the deck. There are big lawns around the house to play or pitch a tent and you can fish from the deck. It is around 30min walking distance from the stone store.
The house sleeps 5 people in 4 rooms. One room is very small, it's our office and it has got a stretcher bed in it. The other 3 rooms are comfortable sized bedrooms, one kingsized double bed and two singles. We have a cat, called pepper, who lives outside. On site there's our retro caravan which sleeps 2 people. The caravan has power, cooking facilities and a fridge.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our place is at the end of a quiet private road. There are horses, sheep and beautiful gardens along our street. From the house it takes you about 30minutes to walk to the famous Stone Store at the Kerikeri basin. From there you can start the Rainbow Falls track, which is a beautiful walk along the river. You can also enjoy a lovely coffee and breakfast at the honey house cafe or the pear tree restaurant.
If you want to shop or go to one of the many cafe's in town, it's the easiest to jump in the car or cycle down. It'll take you about 5-7minutes to drive into Kerikeri town.
