About our home

Our comfortable architecturally designed two-storey home has expansive views of the Kerikeri Inlet and adjoining farmland & bush from the lounge. The house is warm in winter, cool in summer, with large French doors for sunlight and ventilation. There is a log-burner and heat-pump, neither of which you'll need at the time of year when our home is available for swapping (1-2 months between mid November & early February), as the weather would suit Goldilocks (not too hot, nor too cold!).

The master bedroom with en-suite is downstairs, with three single bedrooms upstairs. The lounge - dining room - kitchen areas are open plan, with a high ceiling in the lounge - dining area, which helps this area to stay cool in the summer heat.

Built in the early 1990s, our home is set in a small, easy to maintain garden that is filled with flowers year round.

This is a great place to base yourself while you explore the world famous Bay of Islands (think big game fishing, diving, dolphins, boating, sailing etc), and the rest of New Zealand.
