About our home

Our home is situated on a hill over looking our farm and Lake Taupo, with the Kaimanawa Ranges in the distance. The house is very comfortable and easy to live in. All rooms have a view of the Lake or our farm land. The kitchen is well equipped and a pleasure to be in with the view in front of you. The living areas all have extensive views of the lake, with large sliding doors opening out to tiled outside areas. All bedrooms have their own bathroom/toilet facilities.

More about us

Tony and Kitrena are in their mid 60's and are semi retired farmers. Our main farm, called Foxley Station is just one hours driving from our home at the Lake. We have a Manager and staff running our 4000 acre sheep and beef breeding farm. We have a farm cottage as our second home also available.
We have two adult children and three grandsons and one grand daughter. Being Grandparents is our greatest pleasure.
We are experience home exchangers (since 2002) and have travelled the world, meeting wonderful people and having great adventures.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Kuratau is a small village at the southern end of Lake Taupo. You can experience 'Village Life' of Kuratau and Omori with a local store, vineyard and café. There is wonderful walks along the Lake edge through native bush from Kuratau to Pukawa. It is safe boating and swimming, with several beaches to choose from. The use of a small boat, fishing gear and canoes. Turangi is 15 minutes away with supermarket, medical centre, Information Centre and shopping mall.
Great restaurant less than 5 minutes away on the waters edge.
Visit near by Tongariro National Park and Wanganui National Park - hiking in the summer and snow activities in the winter, and lots more.
