About our home

Our lake edge holiday home, with it's own jetty, has spectular views of Lake Tarawera and Mount Tarawera, privacy, peace and native bush with trophy rainbow trout in the lake, water skiing and canoeing options. The Rotorua area is known for it's natural thermal hot pools, thermal geyser areas and spa treatments, maori culture and trout fishing in the 11 lakes and many rivers. There are also great short walks in the 100 year old Redwood forest by Rotorua city and the world class mountain bike tracks are beside the Redwood forest just 15 minutes away. Rotorua is a well known tourist area for visitors to New Zealand and is central to getting to the mountains (2 1/2 hours away) and the beautiful Mount Maunganui beach (1hour away)
