About our home

Our house is a architecturally designed villa, beautifully appointed with a secret sheltered garden with spa pool to jump into when you come off the beach.
Open the doors at each end of the house and you have an entertainers dream with the kitchen feeding out to the garden with the barbecue or front deck with sea views.
Upstairs there are four large double bedrooms, three of which have sea views. The master bedroom has an ensuite, there is another bathroom with a shower and a bath upstairs, and a separate toilet.
There is a fifth bedroom down stairs or a kids living room with a shower.

More about us

We are a large family that loves doing things together and being outside.
Kenny is a money broker and Gretchen is a stay at home mum.
Kenny and I have two boys and two girls aged 10, 9, 8, 8. Its busy but it has never stopped us doing anything. The kids are all great skiers and we would love to go somewhere close to a ski field and show them a different skiing experience.
We have travelled overseas as a family before and the children are fantastic.
We are proud home owners and the children know how to respect property.
Kenny and I have both travelled and worked overseas in our early 20's, in Europe and America, and would love to give the kids a taste of what is out there.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We are very lucky to live so close to the beach, 2 mins walk and you are having your morning coffee or a swim on the beach. Come off the beach and jump into the spa pool in the back garden.
We have paddle boards and a kayak to explore the coast line.
We live in a great little town called Eastbourne, which is situated on the far side of the harbour from Wellington City. It takes 20 mins to get to wellington out of peak hour traffic, so really close but we get the best of both worlds. We have a small supermarket,lots of cafes, a great book shop and art gallery, library, and several award winning restaurants all walking distance from the house.
There is a ferry that runs between wellington and Eastbourne so if you choose to you can get to town that way.
Wellington is the cultural capital of New Zealand with a rich music and art scene. Amazing weekend food markets and the best water front to wander around.
It is also the gateway to the south Island, you can take the interisland ferry and be in the south island in a matter of hours.
