About our home
Our house is just over three years old in a quiet leafy suburb close to Lower Hutt city with natural timber, tiled and carpeted floors.
All mod cons are available with sleeping configuration being two queen beds and two single beds. House has two bathrooms (one being ensuite) with the main bathroom having a spa bath.
Home is well set up with WiFi internet and Apple TV. Small garden with nice outdoor area to enjoy Bar-B-Ques and outdoor dining.
Our home is well equipped with every need catered for. Quality furnishings and appliances throughout.
Open to swapping cars with new Mitsubishi Eclipse being available.

We are both retired, aged 67 & 65, having worked in professional occupations and have three adult children.
We enjoy walking, meeting people, cycling and travelling. -
We like the opportunity of a house swap so we may experience every day life in a village or community.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
The Lower Hutt central city retailing area is within easy walking distance from our home and has close access to the rail routes servicing Wellington city and the Wairarapa.
Our property backs onto the the popular Hutt River Trail, an easy scenic walk and cycle path, which runs alongside the Hutt River for 29km from Petone to Upper Hutt.
We are 15km from Wellington city (New Zealand's capital) home to Te Papa Museum, Wellington Cable Car ride, Botanical Gardens, Parliament Buildings, Weta workshops, Zealandia Nature Santuary and the many walking and cycling trails through and around Wellington's surrounding hills and beautiful coastline.
The beautiful Marlborough Sounds are just a 3.5hour ferry ride across Cook Strait and one hour away is the Wairarapa region hosting some of New Zealand's top wineries and a great excursion to Cape Palliser, close to the North Island's southern most point.
