About our home

Surrounded by fruit and nut trees and only minutes from Queenstown's international airport, our modest country home looks out over a large private yard perfect for a game of back yard cricket in the summer or building an army of snowmen in the winter. With a fully stocked vegetable garden, glasshouse and chicken coup, wood-fired hot tub, tree house and plenty of parking, our little spot is the perfect rural retreat if you are visiting Queenstown to ski, bike or just relax and explore.

More about us

  1. We love exploring the outdoors. We've even been skiing in Kashmir, India!

  2. Henry is a jet boat builder (@watts_craft), Chloe is a gallery curator, Jack is 1 year old.

  3. During fall/autumn, we have been known to pick up 100,000 walnuts (well, it feels like that anyway).

Where is it?

While we are so close to the Queenstown international airport and Frankton shops, we are also incredibly rural surrounded by 100 year old trees and wide open paddocks. When you step out our door you can jump straight onto the famous Queenstown cycle trail, which takes you down to the Shotover river and bridge for stunning views (or a swim in the summer!). Beyond our place, we are surrounded by country estates, cottages, rural subdivisions with designer homes, as well as horses, sheep, cows, and even alpacas!
