About our home
Our previous guests have described our modern one level house as a comfortable home from home. Located in a lovely Art Deco neighbourhood. It is spacious flooded with natural light with open plan living / dining & modern well equipped kitchen with French doors leading out to the private rear garden complete with BBQ & outdoor seating overlooking fruit trees, flowers, herbs with automatic watering system. There are 3 bedrooms but only 2 will be available, One bedroom has a King size bed & en-suite & wall of built wardrobe the other a Queen size bed also with large wardrobe, family bathroom with bathtub & separate walk in shower cubicle. Both beds have new orthopedic mattresses & quality bed linen. There is both heating & cooling to the living area & both bedrooms.
We will leave beach towels, collapsible chairs, cool box, picnic items & a ground blanket for your days out.
We are NON SMOKERS & insist on only accepting NON SMOKERS. We do not have pets & do not want to have the responsibility of caring for any pets during our stay. Our garden has an automatic watering system & our gardener will take care of the garden during your stay..

Our home is located in a lovely Art Deco neighbourhood . There are a number of convenience shops, restaurants, bank, post office 400m away. & the town centre of Napier is less than 2 km away with its many cafes, restaurants, shops, art galleries, museum, aquarium, theatre, cinema. Glorious beaches, Ocean Spa & Splash Planet are nearby & approximately 10 minutes drive from the house you are surrounded by countryside, & no less than 72 Hawkes Bay wineries www.hawkesbaywines.co.nz & GM Free agriculture. Directly opposite our home is Marewa Walk which is just part of the extensive 180km cycle & walk paths that surround Napier www.nzcycletrail.com there are a number of outlets that have all types of bikes for hire.
Hawkes Bay is known for its excellent climate with hot dry summers & short mild winters. Spring & Autumn are lovely times to visit & most days of the year will be sunny with bright blue skies. Napier is serviced by a domestic airport 10 minutes from our home & bus service that links most parts of New Zealand. Distance by car to the following places Taupo 141 km, Rotorua 219 km, Tauranga 281 km, Auckland 418 km & Wellington 322 km
