About our home

A beautiful new home, completely finished back in April 2008. 3 bedrooms, one single bed with additional foldout bed and two doubles. One main bathroom and ensuite off master. All modern facilities, fabulous kitchen with bi-fold window onto sheltered deck area. Outdoor furniture and large spa pool with built in CD player. Large flat garden with great views to surrounding ranges. Martinborough is predominately a wine growing region with lots of vineyards, fine resturants, cafes. A very relaxed atmosphere. Wellington is an hour away, offering plenty to do and see and then return home to the relaxed pace of Martinborough at the end of the day. Grab a glass of wine and sit out in the spa under the stars.

Hi I'm Nicholas, I have a joinery/security screen business just north of Wellington.My partner Susanne has her own Boutique Jewelry business in Greytown.We are both in our early 40's, love living in the wairarapa and the life style that Martinborough has to offer. Martinborough is a lovely place to come back to at the end of the day, it's relaxing atmosphere is so apparent when you first drive into the square in the centre of the village, you just don't want to leave! Our home is new and spotless and we're extremely pleased with the way it's turned out. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The house is 1km from the centre of the village, with a few neighbours who visit at the weekends and then head back off to Wellington on a sunday night for the week ahead. With undisturbed views of the mountain ranges and country fields, the weather is mainly warm and dry especialy through the summer months, hence a wine growing region.
