About our home

My home is a concrete, architectural designed house built in 2007. It is large and luxurious and warm and cosy at the same time with underfloor heating throughout (split into 4 sections) so is very comfortable for a large group or a couple. It has five bedrooms all with bathrooms, plenty of living spaces, a designer kitchen with large scullery, perfect for a keen cook and entertaining. The views are outstanding of the Whangapoua Bay, farmland, surrounding forest, and native bush. There are peacocks, pheasants, and an abundance of native birds roaming the property. The property is 4 acres of mainly mowed lawns and native gardens, a pleasure to live in.

Where is it?

Whangapoua Beach is situated on the Coromandel peninsula on the East coast. The beach is a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive away from the house and is a gorgeous white sandy surf beach. We have a local store in the village and a cafe very close by. There is an abundance of things to do in the area. We have the famous New Chums beach within walking distance among many walks around the area. Coromandel town only 35 minutes away hosts many cafes, shops, galleries and things to do. Whitianga town 40 minutes south also has a large community, with shops, cafes, galleries, health spa, cinema, etc. The whole of the Coromandel peninsula is full of things to do and see, picturesque scenery, artists galore, fabulous eateries, walks and gardens. Coromandel in general has a fabulous village style friendly community, wherever you visit.
