About our home

Our house is an open plan holiday house with 18 hole golf course over the road and an astro turf tennis court in the reserve beside the house. The house is described in New Zealand as a Kiwi bach which features an indoor outdoor style of living, opening out to a large deck, with a barbeque and outdoor furniture. The house has three double bedrooms, one bathroom in the house, separate toilet, and additional shower and toilet in a separate outside building. The property is surrounded by mature shrubs and trees to ensure your privacy.

Nancy and Bruce live in Auckland and both follow their professional careers as a chartered accountant and teacher. We love travelling and plan to explore Europe over the next few years as our 3 child have now finished their education.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Matarangi is one of the jewels of the Coromandel. It feactures one of New Zealand's most outstanding long white beaches spanning 4 kilometers. Great for safe swimming and body surfing and it is only a 2 minute walk from the house. The community is serviced by a cafe, restaurant and small community shopping centre.

The Coromandel is one of New Zealands earlier settlements and the history is well preserved in the Coromandel township. This is the centre of many of New Zealand artists. The area is now the holiday play ground for out doors pursuits including biking, hiking, fishing, diving kayaking and the exploration of the magnificent coastline.
