Our home is large with 4 bedrooms (one converted into an office)The property has expansive views over the fertile Heretunga plains and beyond. We have just undergone extensive renovations so it is like new inside with the exterior maintaining it's 1960 feel (the year the house was built) Down stairs has been converted into a 2 bedroom apartment that we rent to travellers. Very sorry but due to change in our circumstances only the apartment is available for exchanges. The advantage is we can do non-simultaneous exchanges. The apartment photos can be viewed along with the main house. Our apartment has great indoor outdoor living that compliments our summer climate and is great for entertaining.
Sally and Allan are in their 50's. Allan works as a GM of a retirement village and has a background in hotel management, mainly around Food and beverage with chef and wine experience. Sally runs her own business working with wine and fruit juice. She started her career as an accountant and worked as an export manager for a local winery for many years. We are both very well travelled and have lived overseas at different times. We love entertaining at home and eating out with our friends. We bike on our wonderful cycle tracks, play bowls, ride our Vespa and just try to enjoy life. We do have 2 Burman Cats but they are banned from the apartment, most of the time this works.
Napier is a sea side town that welcomes tourist especially over Summer. It is a town famous for it's Art Deco architecture and boutique shopping. Hawkes Bay is also renowned for it's food and wine with over 90 wineries and many artesian food producers. Food markets and excellent winery restaurants abound. Great bush walks, wonderful cycle tracks (2 bikes available) and 5 golf courses, including Cape Kidnappers, one of the words top courses. Summer brings outdoor concerts and movies and an array of events. The atmosphere is relaxing so you can either spend the days exploring or soaking up the view with glass of wine on the deck.
