About our home

We built this home ourselves in 2008. I am an architectural Designer & my Husband is a builder. It is a family home with good indoor/outdoor living. We have two small boys so we've lots of storage for toys & it is safe for them to play. Our Kitchen is open plan style with plenty of entertaining room and has large walk in pantry. We have a seperate Lounge, 3 bedrooms & a study that can also be used as a single bedroom. There is a double car integral garage with automatic door.

More about us

  1. Hi my names Emma. I am from Garlow Cross, Navan & I've been living in Napier for almost 8 years now & it's been brilliant. I am married to a Kiwi & have two boys Fionn 3yrs & Lorcan 1yrs. You may wonder why I want to leave this idilic place & go back to Navan (espeically at this time of recession)some think I'm crazy but it basically comes down to missing home & family. Our plan is to go home for a year - do a house swap & access the suituation after that. You can contact me at emma kelly 2000 at hotmail dot com.

Where is it?

It is a very safe friendly neighbourhood, lots of paths to walk or cycle, shops are just a walk away.Drive 5 -10min to Napier town & the beach, 10min to the Airport. We are surrounded by Winery's in Hawkes Bay & the Sailing Port along with lovely bars/cafes are only 10min way. It truely is a beautiful area, espeically for families or retired couples, lots of sight seeing, wine & food tasteing & good honest sunshine! Its actually one of the sunniest parts of New Zealand. And if you're a rugby fan the World Cup is here in 2011. Go to to find out more.
