About our home

Our home is situated on Bluff Hill and has beautiful views of Napier city, Cape Kidnappers and the ocean. The house was architecturally designed in the 1980s and has been partially renovated. It contains three double bedrooms with queen size beds, a study and two bathrooms, as well as a large kitchen, dining and living room, and a sun room The sun room opens onto a patio with a barbecue and access to a lovely garden.

More about us

My husband (James) is a New Zealander and I (Teresa) am from Brazil. We have four adult children and have been living in Napier since 1995. We met overseas and have lived in Switzerland and South Africa before settling here. Now that all our children have left home, we are looking forward to doing some more travelling. A friend has recommended this site and we would enjoy the opportunity of exchanging our home for any similar accommodation in different countries such as Ireland, Portugal, France, Italy, Spain and so on.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The house is a five minute walk to downtown Napier, a 10 minute walk to a safe swimming beach, and a 15 minute walk to Ahuriri where many bars and restaurants are. The Hawkes Bay area is one of the best wine producing regions in New Zealand with many of the vineyards having excellent restaurants. Other attractions include golf courses, cycling tracks and surfing beaches. This area enjoys a warm dry summer and mild winters and it is one of the sunniest places in New Zealand.
