About our home

We have a 1930's bungalow in a very desirable area of Nelson. We have spent the last 6 months completely renovating the interior of the house including a new bathroom and kitchen. We are now putting the finishing touches on the outside (photos to follow). The house has reverse cycle air conditioning/heating and has been renovated to a high standard.

More about us

  1. We are Penny, John and Jasmin. Penny is from New Zealand and John is from Wales. Jasmin is 8 years old and was born in New Zealand but has travelled alot and is well behaved. Last year we spent 4 months in Europe including Northern Europe and Scandanavia and would like to go back to the UK again in 2010. John and Penny both come from IT back grounds having worked in Australia and the UK before settling in New Zealand 8 years ago. Since being in New Zealand we have worked for ourselves in the tourism industry. We are very proud of our home having spent the last 6 months completely renovating it and would respect your home as we do ours.

Where is it?

We are in a quiet residential area only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Nelson. You can stroll into town along the Willow Walk, beside the Brook. Nelson has excellent restaurants and bars all within the city's square kilometer. During the summer there are a variety of festivals and outdoor events, including a Jazz festival, Opera in the Park, Wine and Food festival, Seafood festival etc...The Nelson region has fantastic walking, outdoor activities and is the gateway to the stunning Abel Tasman National Park.
