About our home

Our home is set on two acres in what was once an organic orchard, in the middle of Kerikeri, a small boutique Northland town. It is a five minute drive to the The Turner Centre (performing arts), Cathay (movie theatre) and the village which includes an assortment of ethnic style restaurants, cafes and shops. There is a local Arts Craft and Food Market on Saturday morning from 9am-1 and a Farmer's Market on Sunday 8.30am-12.30.
The house is bordered by a small stream, the Waitangi forest and we have a swimming pool.
The immediate area is history rich. Termed the 'Cradle of the nation', Waitangi and the historic Treaty House and grounds are less than a half hour drive away.
Kerikeri itself is where the Maori and missionaries interacted in the early 1800s and the historic Stone Store in the Kerikeri Inlet is the oldest stone building in the country.
There are many beautiful walks which can be accessed from our home including the Te Araroa Trail.
The Far North beaches are stunning and within easy driving distance.
