About our home

Our home is a modern (built 2005) 4 bedroom, single level home on a large private section with beautiful garden, in a quiet cul de sac. It has lovely indoor/outdoor flow and we enjoy the opportunity to dine outside under the shade sail. Our kitchen has all facilities and flows into dining and family areas where we tend to spend much of our time. There is also a seperate lounge room. A car here is essential and we have a modern Holden Commodore 6 cylinder family sedan which could be part of any exchange.

More about us

  1. We are Robyn and Bob, retired professionals with grown up family. Both keen golfers and Robyn also plays tennis. We enjoy our garden and often go for walks around the peninsular. Since our two boys left home we have travelled several times and love to explore different parts of the world. Being retired our travel dates can be quite flexible. We are non smokers and like to keep our home clean and tidy.

Where is it?

Omokoroa (pop 2000) is on a peninsular extending into the greater Tauranga Harbour and is protected from the Pacific Ocean by Matakana Island. There are safe swimming beaches right around the peninsular, and lots of walking tracks. Tauranga City is 15 minutes by car. Rotorua and Coromandel, both popular tourist destinations are 1 hour away, Hamilton 1.5 hours and Auckland 2.5 hours by car. We are centrally located for exploring the North Island. Bay of Plenty weather is amongst the best in New Zealand. Our area is renouned for its kiwifruit and avocados.
