More about us

  1. We are Paul and Michelle, a couple in our 50’s with 2 sons aged 21 and 19. Paul is an aircraft engineer for Air New Zealand and Michelle is an office worker. We live in Mt Eden, Auckland and love to escape the city and spend many weekends and holidays on Waiheke Island.

  2. We enjoy travelling and mostly will be just the two of us but occasionally we may travel as a family. We would like to exchange with other second home owners who can do a non simultaneous swap.

Where is it?

Waiheke Island is a short 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. Our house is a 5 minute drive from the ferry terminal. There are buses and taxis from the terminal and the house is very close to the bus stop. You can also catch a bus from the house to other areas on the island.
The house is located in a lovely peaceful spot but yet only a 10 minute walk to the main village of Oneroa. We often get Pukekos, Tui, Kereru (wood pigeon), families of ducks visiting and Godwits arrive at Blackpool Beach from Alaska.
There are many bush walks, wineries, beaches, art galleries, cafes, restaurants on the island.
