About our home
Our home offers all modern conveniences and comforts. It is elevated, with views , with a charming sheltered terrace garden at the rear directly accessed from the kitchen and main bedroom. The house overlooks a residential but very green tree-filled valley, with Auckland Harbour visible a kilometre distant. The house is compact but the living spaces are generous, with two living areas. Downtown Auckland (great restaurants and bars as well as the ferries terminal for island jaunts) is 5 kms to the west, an easy bus ride along the waterfront or 7-10 mins by car, and the popular bays area (beach and cafes) is a 15 minute walk down various pathways and streets.

“This ia a beautiful comfortable home. The house has a sitting area outside which we thoroughly enjoyed. On cool mornings we availed ourselves of the living room fire place. Cooking was a joy on the gas range. Cleaning up was so easy with the dishwasher. The owners seemed to have thought of everything. The location was close to a small shopping area with a choice of eating places and a very nice grocery store. We would like to meet the owners someday to thank them personally for providing us the opportunity to stay in their lovely home.”

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
Our home is a ten minute bus ride to downtown Auckland City and elevated above the bays that are very popular for locals and visitors to the city (Mission Bay, Kohimarama and St Heliers - all facing north to Rangitoto Island). Mission Bay is a fifteen minute walk and by car the bays are only a few minutes away. The bays offer restaurants, cafes and all forms of exercise activity - water sports or walking the picturesque waterfront. From the city ferry terminal (10 mins) there are ferries to different islands, such as the idyllic Waiheke (vineyards and beaches), Rangitoto (sanctuary and walking) and to the Coromandel Peninsula etc. All are very popular with tourists. A large supermarket and other mall shops are close by - 3 mins drive/ 10 min walk.
