About our home

This little cottage is a lovely peaceful place, one street away from the estuary it has a boat club which I could organize for you to go to they have nice meals and drinks. The beach is not far away you could walk there. The town is historical. It has a museum and a lot of interesting things to look at. We even have a windmill that makes flour. Palmerston north is about 40 mins away thats a nice town where we live. Also you have the capital of New Zealand Wellington which is one an half hours away. The little house has one double bed and a sunroom that sleeps one person. It also has a pull out sofa in the lounge. The heating is a electric fan heater. It has a bath and shower toilet and handbasin, we do not have a washing machine as we still are in the process of doing this feature. There is plenty of room for parking and plenty of lawn section we have a tent that could sleep two more if you come in summer. If you have any questions I will be happy to answer them, this house is a real holiday away from home if you are looking for peace and realaxation from Christine.

Where is it?

As I said in the earlier decription this little town called Foxton is very historical the little beach house is 5mins away from the town it is at the estuary one street away. You will see fisherman fishing from the jetty. The beach is about 2 mins by car and they have a lovely cafe that you can wine and dine at called simply balmy. Also the capital of new zealand is Wellington and its just one and half hours away, so you can go there to our fine restaurants and we have alot to see in Wellington nightclubs, museums, parliment buildings, te papa which is our famous museum with New Zealand history. The shopping is great also. On your way to Wellington you will go through other towns of interest. This little cottage is in a great location and is avalible early January as this is when we wish to travel.
