About our home

We have a large 2 level home with panoramic sea views, 3 minutes from the beach, at the top of the bay with a 100 acre farm behind us with great bush walks; there is a hot tub, pool table, large trampoline, kayaks, bikes, etc. The Coromandel Pennisula is one of the most beautiful locations in New Zealand. This house is very private, but conveniently close to all amenities in Thames. We look out over the Firth of Thames to the eastern coast of the North Island proper. Short drives lead to breathtaking vistas of the coast, plains, and mountians, or into popular surf spots on the south-eastern side of the pennisula. It's heavenly!

More about us

  1. Mark is the Co-Principal of a Steiner/Waldorf school, Kanani is an artist, originally from England and Hawaii respectively; we are interested in the land - we have a 14 acre property nearby which we are replanting with native trees and building a house on - as well as running a small bar in Thames. Mark's son Charlie, 8, lives with us half of the week (and lives at Hogwarts full time!!) and we were recently blessed with a daughter, Kamea, who is 9 months old.

Neighbourhood

We live on the edge of the Coromandel ranges on the Firth of Thames - it is truly beautiful and peaceful. The town of Thames is 10mins away by car and has all you need including great cafes; Auckland is less than 2 hours away.
