About our home

Our home has 3 bedrooms and 2 story's. It is only 3 years old and has a lovely modern feel. It is open plan and has great indoor/ outdoor flow for entertaining or just enjoying the weather.
The bedrooms are all upstairs, a large master with ensuite, a second bedroom with either a super king or 2 singles (bed joins together) and a single room.
It is child friendly with a trampoline, sand pit bikes etc.
We have all mod cons.

More about us

We are a family of 4. My husband Ben, me Philippa and our 2 kids are 5 and 3 years old. We love the outdoors and watersports.
Ben is an engineer on the super yachts and travels a lot, I am lucky enough to be an at home Mum with the kids.
We haven't home exchanged before but my Mum does regularly. We really want to go to Palma ion August 2015 as my husband will be there working on his yacht. We are looking for someone who will respect our home as we will theirs.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Across the road from our house is the beach and a 3 minute walk is a road access to the beach.
Behind the house is a bike/ walking path through a beautiful reserve and duck pond.
You can bike up this path about 10 mins or drive 5 mins to a shopping centre with cafes, supermarket, outlet stores and many other shops.
Nearby is also a large mall (Bayfair) and only 10 mins drive away is the lovely Mount Maunganui a popular holiday destination with great walks, cafes and an amazing beach. Although the beach across the road is just as nice and not so busy!
We have a ski field 3 hours from our house if you are here in winter. Rotorua which is one of the most popular tourist destinations to find out about New Zealand history is only a 45 min drive away (and also great mountain biking there if you are into that)
